When on depth charts, the last column when looking at say qb's says "qb" and a rating of 50... What does this exactly mean AND how important is it?

That is his role rating, similar to the GUESS rating. You can change that formula in the Role Rating tab. You can use it to help set your depth chart by determining who your better/best players are.

Most people feel that role rating is more important than total rating.
