The short stop lets my guy on base. Then Happy hit's a 2-run shot. Of course, the base runner didn't count but it seemed to poison the homer too. Shouldn't Pascual had 2 earned runs this game not just 1?

Two outs were recorded after the homer. If the SS did his job, the side would have been retired prior to the home run hitter reaching the plate, thus the 2 unearned runs.

**Two outs were recorded after the homer** - what he means is that 2 outs were recorded BEFORE the HR, and the SS should have made the 3rd out(before the HR), thus anything happening after 3 outs *should* have been made are all UNearned - even if there are 3 homeruns in a row - ALL unearned.
