Going for it on 4th down...sometimes Topic

I want my team to go for it on 4th down the deeper i am in my opponents territory.

For example, on 4th and 4 at my opponents 30 yard line (a 47 yard FG attempt) i would like my team to attempt the FG. However, on 4th and 4 at my opponents 10 yard line i want to go for it. The logic is that i will for go the 3 point attempt for a chance to keep the drive alive and if i dont i will pin my opponent deep.

I have not figured out a way using the aggressivness setting and max FG distance to acheive what i want. I dont think it is possible. Perhaps we could get MIN FG distance along with a MAX FG distance.

set your field goal max distance to 18. Thats the lowest you can go and gets you to the 5 yard line with no field goals.  I would use this strategy in first halves only though.

Tiger, thanks, but i think you might have mis-read my post. I have adjusted the max FG in attempt to acheive my desired outcome, but that doesnt quite get me there.

What i want is to attempt "longer FGs" while not attempting shorter FGs (going for it when im closer to my opponents end zone).

Playing "very aggressive" will make my offense go for it more. That isnt want i want. I want to go for it closer to my opponents end zone and kick a FG when im 4th and 1 at my opponents 25, as an example.
