No starter can start more than 3 more times than their real life starts. I'm asking owners to please try to keep things realistic. Don't reach the start limit for a pitcher and then throw him into the pen for another 5-10 relief appearances.
This is a terrible rule. Doesn't allow you to utilize the guy's 10% pitch bonus in a pitchers' park, and if he gets the hook early a couple of times in simmed games you're just stuck leaving his innings sitting.
Doesn't make any sense in the context of a game which uses a guy's AVERAGE innings pitched to calculated his MAX reasonable pitch count.
I am stringent about the roster restrictions before the season starts. This rules are pretty lax, there is no penalty for not abiding by it EXACTLY, just a baseline i.e. idea of the, well, theme of this theme.
