A higher amount per team means a DH and ALL PLAYERS CAN BE TWISTED!
Baseball-Reference now has boxscores going back as far as 1916:

When you sign up, I'll assign you a random date (via random.org). Go to b/r.com to view the box scores from that date in history.You will be allowed to
twist any player who appears in any box score from your date to any season in his career.
The player could appear as a pinch runner, pinch hitter, etc - as long as you see his name in the boxscore, he's eligible.
Caveat: I will ensure every date has at least
six games played that day to ensure you have a sufficient pool of players to draw from. If not, I will generate a new date.
The particulars:
- $100m cap
- No clones, no WW, no trades, no live play
- No AA
- Yes DH
- Ballpark must have been played in on your date
- Allignment - Random
- Players like Babe Ruth cannot be twisted to a pitcher if he appeared as a position player in your box score and vise-versa

The first willing person to sign up can generate my date and post it to the forum (there are a couple of options on Random.org - you can run three random sequences (4-9 for month, 1-31 for day and 1916-2013 for year) or use the date generator (set range to 4/1/1916 - 9/30-2013) - obviously rerun if you get a date that's out of range.
