It isn't a stellar class, Killion and Malewski have the potential to be really good players, and Lane could develop to be a beast on the boards. Both Malewski and Ballweg also have solid versatility - Ballweg should have the ability to slide between the 2 and the 3 as situations dictate, and I'd love to be able to start Lane at the 5 and Malewski at the 4 when they are JR/SR.
Once I'm here a while I'm sure I'll never have a SR big with ATH in the 30s, but Watson signed cheap, he'll add depth and a bit of help on the boards. We're also sticking with the press, so I wanted to get that 11th scholarship player. I still have 2 openings next season, and I could see cutting Sandin if it looks like I could pull a 3rd solid FR next season.
I'm not expecting a ton this season, perhaps the FR will be strong enough to let me make a run in the CT, that is probably the only way the postseason is in play this year.
