word is out he decided this week that it wasn't going to be noisy enough at the game to make a difference.....they practiced voice counts, did not use pumped in crowd noise, and did not spend time going over silent counts......



a move of genius, which obviously had no impact on the results during the game.....

Ya, there's really no defense for that. Unless you assume that 75% of the crowd are going to be Broncos fans, there's no reason to think it'll be quiet.

Doesn't matter, the Hawks would kill Denver on any field. They are that much better.

A) If you think Seattle is 30-40 points better than Denver, you're dreaming. That was an ***-kicking for sure, but it would not be the norm if they played more games.

B) Denver has gotten significantly better already in FA and Seattle has gotten marginally worse. Still a long way to go, but any gap between the two teams has pretty much been erased so far.

C) The Pats shot at a Super Bowl next year just ended before it began. Have fun watching Manning in another Super Bowl while Brady's at home crying on Gisele's shoulder.

Ended before it began is fairly laughable as a statement.

New England needs to do 3 things this off season (OK 4, but 'get healthy' is kind of assumed)

1 improve pass rush
2 improve WR position
3 improve defensive backfield

3 has already been done....plenty of time for 1 and 2......Denver has not put themselves out of reach by any means

Denver was already better than NE - are you saying NE has done more than Denver so far in the offseason?

And PS: Once Wilfork gets his release, number 1 is going to take a huge hit too.

Fox is what he is. You're going to get a good defense and super conservative play calling. I give him loads of credit for getting the Panthers to the SB, and zero credit for getting the Broncos there. People were calling for his head two years ago after that Baltimore mess.
