Welcome to March 2016.

Dems trying to deflect ridicule from their probable candidate not even bothering to debate Sanders.
Shame how low they'll stoop, now that they're getting desperate (and with over 5 months still to go).

Trump now has 1238. The Repug race is over.
Yep... moy the Soothsayer told everyone that a contested convention was simply a media ploy for a story the haters would believe..... and I told everyone that Trump would wrap up the 1237 before the convention.

at one time i was really following the trump narrative and i found him funny and fascinating and was thinking about voting for him in the general if he faced hillary but very recently i got trump burnout...i am a supporter of bernie and i wont vote for hlilary...now it is almost a certainty that i will vote for none of the above....trumps recent words about climate change was the deal breaker for me.....i no longer find him funny...i just think he is dangerous...im with him on the wall.../being safe re syrian refugees.....but i now think he would be the herbert hoover of everything....i think he will burn out before november.

he wants the vp.

It goes to show you just how desperate the GOP is to get back the presidency...as if the last 8 years didn't show it enough.

If anybody wants to see what happens to Rubio when he (really) goes off script, try to find his last appearance with Jon Stewart on the Daily Show. Rubio makes his eloquently well-scripted stump-speech statements about certain issues (using a far more advanced vocabulary than one customarily hears him use), but then Stewart tries to actually discuss/debate in response. So then, Rubio starts stuttering and repeatedly saying "like" and "and stuff." Pathetic. He really is Robo-Rubio. Has been for a long time.

Are you implying that Trump does well in those situations?

Clinton essentially has the nomination secured. Why would she debate Sanders? Just like Trump doesn't want to debate Sanders because Sanders has nothing to lose, Clinton doesn't want to either.
"Essentially . . . secured"? Is that like actually secured; like Trump? I guess we should give her a break though, since she had so many different opponents to defeat.
She should debate Sanders because she acted like a freakin' 2 year old four years ago. Now it's another example of her "Do as I say, not as I do." and "Rules are for other people; certainly NOT me." attitudes.

Trump is OK in debates
Trump is awesome in front of filled stadiums.
Trump is best in one on one interviews.

Everything Trump does is calculated.

Remove "great", "tremendous", "best ever" or any other superlative from his vocabulary and he can't form a complete sentence.

To be honest, he is a great speaker. Sort of like Obama.
