Franchise. 60-64 80 mil Full Topic

Listed below are the total wins for each franchise from the years 1960-1964. The teams have been separated into 4 divisions.  One league will have the best 8 teams during those five years.  The other league will have the next best 8 teams for the five years. Division D has six options because the teams were so bad for the span of 5 years.  The teams will only play teams in their league.  It will be the best teams battling and the worst teams battling for a trip to toc.  Sixteen teams-4 Playoff spots earned-2 Teams Earn trip to TOC-1team Wins World Series

There will be no trades, no ww, no twists, no dh, no clones, and no dreaded aaa prospects.  The cap is 80 million.  It may help to even playing field for lesser teams.

Do you pick a great franchise and battle against other great franchises?  Do you pick a good team to battle against other good teams? Do you choose a horrible franchise, win a spot in playoffs, and hope for a magical playoff run to toc?  You make the choice.

I am a Phillie fan so I will go with them in D division.  They were bad from 60-64.  Maybe I can get playoff spot and pull rabbit out of my hat?

Big fan of this time period as well. I will do the White Sox... Also might be interested in doing a team from the lower divisions as well if u need someone to take another team.

4/29/2014 9:28 AM
Thanks.  I will put you down.  You can always change your mind.

If you keep this going are you going to re-align the divisions each time?

And if this keeps going can we keep the same teams, or do we need to signup again(first come)?
4/29/2014 10:03 AM
I would like to re-align by record each theme (span of years).  I will give first dibs to previous owners.  For example, if you want Orioles this time, I will allow you to keep next time.  I want to get it off the ground.  If I need to tinker with it to make it go, I will for future success.  it is a modified progressive.  The first season is like test case.
PLMK if I can further help with explanations.
