Said Lightning GM Steve Yzerman: "We are aware of the situation concerning Ryan Malone this morning. Ryan will not travel with the team to Washington today, but beyond that we cannot comment further at this time."

The team plays Sunday, so Malone is obviously out for the regular-season finale, and his playoff status is in question, though we'll see what the investigation reveals. The police report did not provide any other details as of now.
