Semi-Modern Franchise League - 1977 -1993

We recently ran a very fun 70 mil cap that used players exclusively from 1998-2013.  In this version, we'll go back a little bit more to when many us on the LIVE circuit remember - 1977-1993. 

I always enjoy franchise leagues leagues and want to have another lower cap one for a change of pace. If you haven't played a lower cap league before, I'd highly recommend giving it a try.  All franchises are competitive at this level and you'll use players you never have before.  (and maybe never will again).  This league will require you to truly GM & manage ,so come join!


Salary Cap:                                    70 mil
Player Seasons:                           1977 - 1993 and from your selected franchise only.
AAA:                                                 6/4 Below Average.  Manual draft.  Players MUST be from your franchise AND 1977-1993.
Waiver Wire, Clones, DH:           No     
Trades:                                            Yes

Franchises:                                   Only 1 use of each franchise
Number:                                         24
Home Park:                                   Must be one used by your franchise from 1977 - 1993.
Divisional Alignment:                  As close to today as possible.  Newer franchises will be moved first if necessary.
LIVE game requirements:         40.  Playoffs must be played live.



I'm going to select Cleveland as my franchise to start, but if someone really wants them I'll give them up.

This was a great league last time around, every franchise is competitive and there was tons of LIVE play despite someone with 2 teams quitting at the beginning of the season. Highly recommended.

I'll come in with the two NY teams.  Lemme have the Yankees and the Mets.  No idea if they will be good but I'll try them sight unseen :)  Not sure how to do the manual AAA draft though.  I'll figger it out I hope.

The manual draft will be automatically set-up for you when I issue out the league number. It'll be part of your team entry process.   It's very easy.

You'll just have to make sure you put in Yankess and Mets from 1977-1993. 

Ill take the Expos for a second team unless someone really wants them
