History of Baseball ProRegressive (13in) - Dead Topic

One clarifying question: Just because I selected an 1885 team to start does not prohibit me from drafting 2013 regressive players, right?

I see we can use a City/Team name, but the example given is Mississippi Mudcats - Mississippi is not a city. I am confused.

Trust we will have a snake draft so that the team with the highest win percentage in real life will not draft last in each round of the player draft.

Sorry just regular naming convention I mean it can be city/state just normal naming convention.  No it will not be a snake draft.  Reason i did it like that is they were the best that year meaning they should have the superior players for this first year just like a regualr draft would happen.  If you want to change your team let me know.

In subsequent seasons we will have a draft of the new rookies

Wont these new rookies already be in the league? - a 2013 team already has some 2012 rookies on it.
And what would be the point of drafting new rookies when you can only use them for one year? - if I have a 2013 team and then draft new rookies from 2012, the rookies from 2012 wont be available in 2011.

2012 players will be retirees from 2012 not rookies
5/21/2014 12:22 PM
May I take the 2013 Baltimore Orioles please
5/22/2014 12:17 AM
I call them rookies since it will be there first year in the league but yes retirees is the correct term. I changed it to the retirees to avoid confusion
