I was thinking - is there any interest in running an overall champion for the complete run through of the decades?

I was thinking of maybe some type of 'Grand Prix' idea-
so many points for a championship -
so many for a playoff appereance, etc
Champion =100
playoff = 20
Conference title = so many, etc etc. etc.

would maybe add a twist or added incentive to the decade 'lifers' in that they could shoot for an overall -
PLUS it might help some to stay tuned in each decade..

damn..wish we woulda done this the first time haha...pretty sure id be bringing home some hardware...went to the title game 3 times(won one) and had 49+ wins every time

I was thinking about this about half way through the decade run -

I'm sure what ever format or point system is determined,
then we could apply it to the first series and see how the race stacked up for the first or initial completion of the decades.

I think an important factor in getting interest in the concept would
be for the owners or smokey to come up with an equitable or fair or interesting points system

Maybe we could 'spit ball' that, or discuss or solidify the points during the lag time associated witht he next draft (80's)
