I know that if a guy is ineligible at the start of the season, he will not grow in any area during the season, so you should always put all minutes into SH on those guys.

I do not know if a player stops growing if he goes ineligible during the season after starting eligible ... did you see continued growth after he became ineligible?

Yeah, they keep growing if they don't make grades.

I remember reading something that said if a player is ineligible for the off-season they improve less than they normally would. With 64 WE I wouldn't imaging it hurting you long term though.
