Given richardsons contact rating and arrendados contact and lefty righty ratings I am surprised by their stats in the majors...

Am I just overvaluing those ratings? Are these stats about what I should expect from players like this?

I would say that Richardson is the one really overproducing.  Arrendondo has 96 Power and 90 Eye.  Minus last years weird BA, he's a .250 hitter who hits homers and walks.  Gorman Thomas, if you remember him.  His numbers don't seem too out of line.

Richardson is right where I'd expect him, especially if he got rested against tough lefties in his first two seasons.  He's a switch-hitter, which helps some.

Arrendono was the one who surprised me.  I wasn't expecting a BA that high.

I think what you got out of Richardson in S28 is in line in what you'd expect.

That said - yes, power is very important.  And I've found that the guys who have surprised me with the stats they produced were often high power/eye guys.

On the other end of the coin I've been pretty disappointed with this low power guy so far http://whatifsports.com/HBD/Pages/Popups/PlayerProfile.aspx?pid=4117310

Am I getting the max out of him or should I be disapointed?
