How to get SP to pitch complete games? Topic

My ace threw 98 pitches at the end of 8 innings. allowed 5 hits. walked none. no runs allowed. max PC is at 120.

Threw the closer in to pitch the 9th and he blew a save (only his 3rd so not awful). i feel like my SP could have closed out the game and gotten me the win in a tight playoff race.

Is there anyway I can get my pitcher to pitch CGs rather than go 8.
