Now that's an interesting riddle.
On one hand - elite speed & ball handling, plus decent FT...
On the other hand - that ATH. I'm curious how much it'll affect his ability to get to the line.
I have a hunch that he'd be effective - i suppose it depends on your definition of "machine".

I'd try it.

I guess I am looking for a point per minute or something....

I looked up other D3 guys  with similar #'s and they all seem to shoot 50% or better from the field on 2 pointers.   I don't know what a good FTA/FGA ratio is though to see if they get to the line.

I think you could use him heavily (point per min or very close) with decent efficiency.
I'd be happy if I could get 45% from the field at high volume. 50% would be amazing.
I'd also expect him inexplicably foul out in 5 mins or less a couple times over the year.
But I've definitely used similar players in a limited role, with decent success, and without remorse.

*Should be noted that the players I'm referencing personally had slighly higher PER(50+), and less LP(less than 25).

My inclination would be to say no, but give it a try.

Please.

Dooo it, joe.
In the name of science.

My HIGHLY UNSCIENTIFIC and ultimately meaningless projection: 11.2ppg in 14 mins / 44%FG / 2AST / 2.1TO / 0.8STL / 3PF

Yeah, that's what I am worried about.

I am pretty sure the SIM makes a decision if you are going to use the ATH/LP or SPD/PER equation for scoring but I don't know how the SPD/BH guys fit in.   I am also worried that the SIM will see the high LP and decide to use that instead of the nebulous SPD/BH equation,.

Which team is he on? Was trying to see what players would be around him.

Why does that matter?

The players you can surround someone with makes a big difference, as does whether, for example, you play a fast break offense ...

Well, it's a triangle offense. In theory, he'll be paired with a SPD/PER scorer and a ATH/LP scorer. He'll be at the one and my 2 guard will have a PASS between 60-70.

It's my NYU team if you care to elaborate A.
6/20/2014 7:15 AM
Well ... I would say your best bet is that he needs to be surrounded by high ath and high passing. But if you surround him with the right talent, he can indeed be useful. I've had good results having one, but only one, of those guys on a team before.
