One of my WhatIf favorite leagues is the No Superstars/Average Joe theme. The rules are pretty simple:

All pitchers must have an ERA of 3.00 or more
All hitters must have a batting average of .280 or less.
All players from 1920-present.

6/2 AAA (average, you-pick, same restrictions apply), no DH, no trades, no injuries, no waiver wire. Ballparks not exclusive, but need to be in the 1920-present timeframe.

This league is particularly fun because it makes users play with some of the less-used players in the sim and try out some new drafting strategies. Sign up in the forum, I'll include a league number once we get some people signed up.
