Is it possible to view your opponents physical and technical attributes before a match? In other words, if you want to set your lineup to match speed with speed or extra defense for a team with higher offensive capabilities, etc. can this be done?

No. You can view their stats and make some deductions from that, but the only way to see individual ratings would be to scout their players individually, which you have to pay cash for.

What I mean is that when you scout a player, which you have to do to offer a contract or transfer, that's when you see their ratings. That comes out of your team's budget. You could do that for an entire team you were about to face, but it would eat through your cash pretty fast.

click on the player's profile link and one of the tabs in the profile window will let you scout them.  It costs ~11,000 for domestics and 21,000 for foreign players

There is plenty of ways to improve this game and then WIS could start to charge for the game. Would they lose players? Yes, but I think less worlds would make this game more competitive.
