More like BL is arguing that black people are lucky to get through a day without being murdered by cops.
I'm arguing that one black man not being murdered in an encounter with police isn't proof that we don't have a problem with racist cops.

So are you saying that, despite his cooperating fully with the officer that pulled him over, he's lucky to still be alive?
Nope. I'm saying that his one encounter shouldn't be taken as proof that we don't have a problem. We have a problem and it needs to be fixed.

Maybe one way to "fix" the problem is to obey the law and not be a dick to the cops over routine incidents.

How's that sound?

Maybe the cops should obey the law and not murder people?

What could the guy in Walmart have done differently?

Oh, do you want to play that game?

What could Michael Brown have done differently?

If I answer, will you?

We have two groups of people:

Group A is made up of civilians. They either didn't break the law (Crawford) or they broke the law in relatively minor ways (running from the police, resisting arrest, etc.)

Group B is made up of law enforcement officers. They are trained and have weapons. They broke the law by killing people.

Which group is a bigger problem?

There are problems in both groups.

Sure. Which group is the bigger problem?

Probably A.  There are many more people who make poor choices and do foolish things that put their lives at risk than there are rogue, murderous cops.

I'm much more concerned about the folks in A than I am about the folks in B.

So we differ in that. People will always do stupid things. Get DUIs, do drugs, run from cops, etc. but we have law enforcement and a justice system to deal with it.

On the other hand, if the people that we trust to enforce the law are instead murdering people and not facing justice, it's a much bigger problem.

If cops are racist, are black people more or less likely to cooperate?

And you're white, so B isn't an issue for you.

Are all cops racist?  If not, then what percentage of them are?

No.

>0%

Yet, you seem to paint cops, as a whole, as racist murderers.  All of your posts refer to them that way.
