I really miss having a conservative party. Topic

I really do.  It is either liberals or socialists.

JFK could never be president today, considering he would be too conservative for the current GOP.

...and if the GOP choices end up being Christie, Jeb, or the Loser... I may end up voting for Hilliary.  At least she claims to be liberal and not a liberal in elephant clothing.

Who do you consider a socialist?

Ha!  The only way you go more conservative would be to dig up Mussolini.

You do realize that Obama just dusted off Bob Dole's health care proposal from twenty years earlier and called it his own, and the GOP was screaming about it being downright Marxist.

Your gauges are just a wee bit out of alignment.

Boner-Reid $1,000,000,000,000+ spending package.

Bella Pelosi, Liawatha, most of the Democrat party now.  What I have been hearing lately, is Hillary is too conservative for the Democrat party.... Seriously?

I watched 10 minutes of Hannity a couple of weeks ago.  ****** may not be a strong enough word to describe him.

So JFK is like Mussolini.  Thanks.

Bob Dole is a liberal (I can't believe he is still alive).  The GOP have not put a real conservative up for election for President since Reagan...and his last 2 years was nothing to write home about.

I am talking about fiscal conservatives, not these moronic social conservatives.  Those guys used to be known as "Dixiecrats".  Now they are known as "Conservative Christians".

Whether it be the Conservative Party, the Green Party, or something else, this Country DRASTICALLY needs a 3rd Party. Until one emerges, we will NOT be a Democracy. In a Democracy, elected officials vote for the good of the people who elected them, NOT for whatever their Party wants.

Dear Doug,

Thank you for contacting me about the "CRomnibus" spending bill (H.R. 83). I appreciate hearing from you.

The most recent budget agreement, also known as "CRomnibus," appropriates $1.1 trillion dollars for spending in FY 2015. This bipartisan legislation funds most of the government through the end of the fiscal year, while only funding the Department of Homeland Security through February 27, 2015. With my support, this bill passed the Senate on December 13, 2014, and it was signed by President Obama into law on December 16, 2014.

While far from perfect, I voted in support of this legislation because it freezes government spending, avoids the possibility of a government shutdown, and includes a number of policies that are good for Pennsylvania. In fact, I have advocated for many of these policies in the past, including prohibiting the taxation of Internet access and preventing the ideological targeting of Americans by the IRS.

In addition to stopping several job-killing regulations and taxes, this bill funds programs that help our veterans and troops, victims of child abuse and domestic violence, and researchers working to fight Alzheimer's. H.R. 83 also ends the taxpayer bailout of health insurance companies under Obamacare.

I was disappointed that the Senate was forced to vote on this massive proposal at the eleventh hour to avoid a government shutdown. This is the direct result of Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) and his refusal to allow the Senate to debate individual appropriations bills separately and in a timely, transparent manner. With new leadership in the Senate next Congress, I believe that we can restore the normal appropriations process and prevent such last-minute deal making in the future.

Thank you again for your correspondence. Please do not hesitate to contact me in the future if I can be of assistance.

Sincerely,

Pat Toomey
U.S. Senator, Pennsylvania

When the Repugs are confused why we have President Clinton in 2016, they can look back to today when Boner takes a hard line on the few conservatives and then he gobs Obama's knob.

80% OF REGISTERED AMERIKAN VOTERS COULDN'T IDENTIFY BONER(DESPITE THE ORANGE FAKE TAN) OR HIS TITLE.

THAT WON'T BE THE REASON FOR PRESIDENT CLINTON II

Now the Repugs are entertaining the thought of raising the gas tax.  What a great conservative thought!  Let's make sure that the economy stays crappy.

Folks, we have a WINNER

Ok. I am one of those right wing Conservatives, and am a Christian. Truth be known, back in the day I LIKED JFK. Not saying his character was above reproach, but he had a courageous heart.  He stood up to the Mafia and the Commies.

If he could come back for an hour, what would he say????

Perhaps, "I TOLD you so"                                   and he did just that
