Very good ukula...shows me how average my team is this season.

from what i could see woods and giglio are the only 2 on all three of the list- they should be 1-2 for player of the year in the conference.

Conference Tournament Odds
Wooster   3-1
Ohio Wesleyan   3-1
Wittenberg   8-1
Earlham 10-1
Grove City 10-1
Denison 10-1
Wabash 25-1
Thiel 40-1

Postseason Outlook
by Simmy Simkins

Wooster
NT bid Locked up, most likely a 2 or 3 seed.

Ohio Wesleyan
NT bid Locked up, most likely a 4 seed but could go
as high as a 2 seed.  Co-favorite to win CT, split season
series with Wooster.

Wittenberg
NT bid Locked up, but are currently looking at either an
8 or 9 seed, which means they'll play the 1 seed in
Round 2.  Need to have a good showing in the CT
to move up to a 6 or 7 seed.

Earlham
Currently #55 on the projection report and looking at a PI bid.  Need a
win against Wittenberg in the first round to have any chance at
The NT.  Dangerous team, during regular season they beat Wittenberg by 23,
and had two very close games against Wooster and Ohio Wesleyan.

Grove City
Currently #56 on the projection report and looking at a PI bid.  They
have a tough matchup against Denison in the first round of the CT.  The
winner keeps their NT hopes alive while the loser goes to the PI.  Lost to
Denison by 1 during regular season.

Denison
Currently #57 on the projection report and looking at a PI bid.  They
have a tough matchup against Grove City in the first round of the CT.
The winner  keeps their NT hopes alive while the loser goes to the PI.
Beat Grove City by 1 during regular season.

Wabash
Currently rated #73 on the projection report.  They most likely
need to win the CT to get to the big dance, otherwise they
are locked into the PI.

Thiel
Currently ranked #88 on the projection report and on the very fringe
of a PI bid.  A win against Ohio Wesleyan would remove any doubt.
Need to win CT for an NT bid.

Nice work Ukula. I was hoping not to face Wittenberg again, my nemesis. I guess I won't have to, Earlham has knocked that team out of the tournament. I am hoping for Kenneth Bryant as player of the year, defensive player of the year, first team all-conference. I hope it happens. I think you are a lock for Coach of the Year.

Overall it looks like a lean year for the NCAC - no dominant team(s).  On the positive side it should be wide open for the Conference Tournament and Regular Season Title.  The East looks like a 2-horse race between Earlham and Kenyon while the West should be competitive again with any of 5 teams taking the division.

  East Rating Prediction
1 Earlham         53.84 National Tournament
2 Kenyon         53.42 National Tournament
3 Denison         48.01 Postseason Invitational
4 Allegheny         47.55
5 Hiram         46.01
6 Oberlin         45.68

  West Rating Prediction
1 Wooster         52.61 National Tournament
2 Wittenberg         52.33 National Tournament
3 Ohio Wesleyan         50.70 National Tournament
4 Wabash         49.33 Postseason Invitational
5 Grove City         48.31 Postseason Invitational
6 Thiel         48.26

Well, Ukula, your predictions are about what I think of the teams in our division. We are a lot weaker as a whole. I think I will struggle getting to the NT... I am pretty sure I can get a PIT bid. Last year, I felt I had one of the best teams if not the best of the conference. This year, I feel really vulnerable against every opponent!
5/28/2015 7:49 PM
I'm actually surprised that we got the top score in the west since we've been struggling mightily in our first four games. My team is improving rapidly, lots of blue ratings with high work ethic, so I expect us to be pretty good come tournament time.
5/29/2015 5:54 AM
Nice job ukula. I am hoping to sneak into the NT this season.

Nice ukula. I don't have many on the list. No stars on my team we play well together as a whole.
6/5/2015 10:09 AM
Kenneth Bryant is certainly one of the best player in DIII but other than him, we don't have that many good players. I hope to land two or three stars like Bryant in a particular recruiting season to make a move in the NT.
