I'm leading on the SP now but could switch off and get the CF..

The CF will bring you more value.     A CF who can hit and field the position his entire career is harder to find.

That said, PP have 10-13 year careers while P can be effective for 15-18.    But I don't think either will re-sign after their contracts are up.

These are draft prospects, and you have $16m in both HS and COL?
3/3/2015 9:43 AM
Both internationals, no?

And I'd grab the CF.

I'd take the CF.  Just lock that position up for 8 seasons or so.

Absolutely the CF, with 20m training the odds of injury are pretty low and 60s health isn't horrid.  As others have stated, much harder to find a CF good enough to win a Gold Glove and Silver Slugger than a SP of this quality.
In all of HBD, this type of player is what I consider to be one of the three holy grails:
     1.  GG and SS quality Shortstop
     2. GG and SS quality Centerfield
     3. 90/90/90 (Con/VL/VR) or close to it along with good pitches Starting Pitcher

These are guys who you keep as long as you can and try your best to build champions around them because they don't come around that often.

Got to go with the CF.  It's hard to pass up on SP, but that CF has excellent speed and already has a very good eye.  Even if he fails to be a .280+ hitter, which I'd be really surprised if that happened, he'll still put up excellent OBP #'s to go along with the glove.

You're going to have stiff bidding competition for both, so be ready.

Here's another SP that just popped up.. While he is not better skillwise he has a higher HLTH rating and has a high enough PAT rating that he would stay with the team forever..

International... The SP has popped up now.. Based on the gay IFA glitch the CF will be popping up in next 15-20 IFA's to pop up..  We're playing game # 1 of the season tomorrow so there is a lot of season left for better IFA's to pop up even if they correct the glitch and remix each worlds IFA list (I doubt they can do that).. My guess is that they will only be able to camouflage the IFAs and not rewrite the code to make it a randomization.

I like the CF a lot but his HLTH is a concern and there is not guarantee that I will be the only one at that point with the max amount to offer.  It helps that I won the WS last season as I dont have to put aside too much money for the amateur draft and I could just not sign the the 32nd pick..

Wait a second... The glitch makes them gay? Is that why IFAs are always telling me they need to redecorate their living rooms?

I've seen 2 and 3, but I can't say I've ever seen 1. Have any of you? I don't have that many seasons under my belt so maybe that's why, but I really haven't seen a SS who meets the defensive requirements and hits like I would expect one of the best players to.

It might just be a relative thing. The best CFs I've seen are perennial GG winners and have 900-950 career OPS, but the equivalent SS I've seen is something more like 650-700 OPS.

Here's the CF: <a style="color:black;" href="http://www.whatifsports.com/hbd/Pages/Popups/PlayerProfile.aspx?pid=4328591" target="_blank">Adrian Lindblom</a>
