All good, but nothing beats the original: "Pomp and Circumstance" which they played when Sparky Lyle came in to pitch in 1972 and 1973.

How about the greatest entrance music:
     Mo Rivera:  Enter Sandman
Lt. Col. Kilgore:  Ride of the Valkyries (extra points if you get the reference)

As for me (unless you walk slow, you only hear the first 5-8 seconds of the song), Sabotage by Beastie Boys, Rudee Can't Fail by The Clash...
Kilgore was commander of the Air Cav regiment in Apocalypse Now, if that's what you meant.

As for proposed walk-ups, I'd like to see a Closer use the Dies Irae from Mozart's Requiem.

Wagner - Ride of the Valkyries
Yeah it was the first piece of music that came to mind...

Fun to see Albert or Big Papi intimidatING a young RP, walking up to the plate in the 9th with this blaring on the PA system...

Should be standard equipment on an AC-130 gunship...start the music just ahead of the firing of the Gatling guns...there are a few good videos of Spectres on Youtube attacking some poor bastards on the ground..

Can still see Lidge' s reaction when Albert hit a ball up onto the train tracks at Minute Maid...he crushed it...afterwards you see Nolan Ryan and others in the Astros skybox are just stunned...priceless

I like the Dies Irae suggestion.  No, it's not some super-hypo rock star coming in - you're about to face the holy Day of Wrath.
