Sos does to matter. If it did not matter Iowa should be number 2 and not Bama. Also if you want to start who did who play crap. We'll look at this going in to this weekend Bama beat one team that was still ranked in the top 25 the same number as Iowa and less then clemson. So who did Bama play then if you want to go there.

It doesn't matter.    Who was in the playoffs last year?   4 clear cut conference winners with 0-1 losses.    Barring upsets, who will be in the playoffs this year?  4 clear cut conference winners with 0-1 losses.   Who they played did not matter in either year.

Ok I mean 1-4 it will matter. But I have also seen you ask who has the other teams play but when anyone ask you about Bama all you say is well we had one of the top sos coming into the season.

I'm not sure it will matter in the seeding.   Clemson had ND/FSU.   Iowa had a weak B10 schedule.   Bama had a SEC schedule.   And Oklahoma only beat B12 teams.

If I had to seed them based on "appearances", I'd probably have Bama, Oklahoma, Clemson, Iowa.   My guess, if the CC play out the way one expects, you'll see Clemson, Bama, Oklahoma, MSU in that order.

You thought Nebraska would be a winner.   STFU.

Ok Mike how about this a blind test I will give you 1-5 no record and in no order. I will tell you each teams wins vs the top 25 in the CFP and opp. winning% and you tell me the order of the teams.

Team A- 2 wins and .542% - Michigan State
Team B- 1 win and .627% - Alabama
Team C- 2 wins and .507% - Clemson
Team D- 3 wins and .543% - Oklahoma
Team E- 1 win and .461% - Iowa

You are ignoring other more important factors like losses and conference championships.

4 out of the 5 teams will have 1 lose and will be conference championships. But I also meant to said as of today.

You thought Auburn was a Top 25 team, so you should probably take some of your own advise.

Opp. winning % is just too narrow a scope to base anything on. What would really make for a useful tool would be opp., opp. winning %.

My thoughts exactly.    But, hell, I can play the "one tiny piece of info" game.

Team A:  38-3 win over Team C
Team B: 24-17 loss against Team C

Who's in?
12/1/2015 9:14 AM
TEAM D

NEBRASKA?!!?!??!?

Seems like a pretty big piece to leave out. One of those teams wont be a conference champion.

Also we shouldn't care who is in today as the playoff isn't today. All that matters is that they get the right 4 in at the end.
