YES, PLEASE!  I haven't played an open league in years and have no interest in doing so while success in them depends on the use of these ridiculous "rookies."

Wow, I've seen the short minute 99-00 Rodman appear as a rookie on an opponent's team before, but 1078 minutes of Rodman!!! That's ridiculous

Been saying for years and years that random rookies should NOT be part of any League, and that I will NEVER play in a League that uses them. Using the 1-1-1-A-A rookies is at least a little better - everybody gets equal value. I'd say I'm not sure what WIS is thinking, but they quit thinking about the NBA SIM almost a decade ago.

I'd much rather they raise the cap to $47m and drop the rookies, or at least give complete scrubs as rookies instead of randomized real players.  1078 minute worm?  He's on like 80% of my teams already... I use him for a reason.  He's a great bargain.  Jesus.
