Not exactly.
It was voted down it was a ****** piece of legislation that, among other things, essentially created a pot cartel. Everyone I know who smokes either voted against it or held their nose and said, "well, it's all we got." Even I voted against it, and I've never been against any legalization effort.
There's likely to be another effort next year, without the de facto cartel. It won't have the big financial backing, but if it makes it on the ballot, I'd expect it to pass easily.
