WAA AAA 6 Position and 6 Pitchers (renamed after your top 12 favorite Smokin' Hotties) to fill any potential gaps.
There are 67 Teams to pick from
AL - DH & NL - No DH

1) Pick your favorite team (Teams available list)
Then find which year you want to start building from.(All teams to pick from have a .425 Win% or less)
The team and year you pick will designate your ballpark.

2) Each Season-
You will start with the 24 players of your choice
Each owner has the OPTION to  DRAFT a player
The DRAFT PICK may be ANY player - ANY season - ANY team
If a player is available on the LIVE DAFT TOOL. He is available to you.

3) Each owner has the OPTION to upgrade/twist {3} players off his roster(Changing a player off your roster to ANY Team/Season of his career)
EACH SEASON -this will repeat-- Retaining the roster from the PREVIOUS SEASON
      NOTE: Example - You have Dennis Eckersley on the team you picked the 1993 A's
                                    The First season you need more IP's you upgrade/twist him to the 1978 Boston Red Sox SP
                                    Season  4 you twist him to 1990 A'S
     This is ( 2 ) TWISTS of your MAX ALLOWED 16 twists over the course of 7 seasons.
                                    Changing a player between partials of his initial season is NOT considered twisting
                                    Twisting a player beteween partials in a different season is:
                                    and will come off your ( 16 ) Maximum Twist Balance.

4) Load (24) players {Choose 21 ORIGINAL players that came with your team & 3 UPGRADED-TWISTED players}
onto your team using the LIVE DRAFT OPTION

5) Wait until ALL OWNERS have downloaded their (24) players

6) Lowest payroll (after all owners have downloaded their players) will draft first.
Highest payroll will draft last

7)The LIVE DRAFT will start with lowest payroll Owner
Since we are drafting only (1) player and it's important.
There is no time limit on your pick(within 24 hours please)
The next owner may draft as soon as the owner before him is done

8) Again using the LIVE DRAFT OPTION
Season 2 you will Download the DRAFT PICK from Season 1
and download the ( 3 ) upgraded players from Season 1
Season 2 and forward

Again downloading ( 24 ) players prior to the LIVE DRAFT

9) Season 2 and on The LIVE DRAFT ORDER will remain
with lowest payroll picks first and highest picks last.

Owners have the OPTION to UPGRADE (3( Players)
Release (1) Player and then DRAFT (1) player from the LIVE DRAFT - Each Season
The released player will automatically go back into the LIVE DRAFT

Unless the released player was on a team that was picked later
In which case that owner has the option to take him back- free of charge.
The LIVE DRAFT automatically removes any player that is on a team so, you cannot draft a clone.
The Draft order from Season 2 and on will lowest payroll drafts first and highest drafts last.

Don't be confused by the released player, that Maybe optioned back to the original owner statement.
Released players are usually released for a reason and one reason is no one wants them and they sit in the LIVE DRAFT for eternity.

You say all teams have a .425 or lower W% BUT the Cleveland Spiders in the mid-1890's were a powerhouse. Did you mean to write 1890,1899? instead of 1890-1899???

This brings up another ? What if the roster of a team has less than 25 player?. That's the case for 1800's and early 1900's squads.

Inshoots -Yes, I used the hyphen instead of a comma on all the seasons listed.

If a team has less than 25 men on the roster, you will have to use the WAA AAA to fill the gaps until,
your team catches up to 25.
The good thing about having less than 25, is you won't have to release a player when you draft one.

Well one thing I've learned doing this, is that after Ruth left in 1919 the Red Sox became the dumping grounds for all the used to be good players.

I read the post on draft order for seasons 2 thru 7 and understand it is strictly based on winning per centage from the last season.
