You should be providing 4 answers to these questions:
1. All rules are effective immediately. If not, they begin with the start of season two. Yes or No.
2. If there is a wins floor, which model do you prefer?
2a. 55-120-195-280
2b. 60 every year. Prior years and cumulative totals do not matter.
3. Should there even be a minimum wins floor at all, and if there is one, how should it be enforced?
3a. No minimum wins floor. Let tankers be tankers at $30 per season.
3b. Missing the wins floor in the first year is a warning. Second consecutive year is an automatic dismissal.
3c. The wins floor will be subject to exception through committee. If yes, you volunteer to be on the committee. Asking someone else to be on a committee that you personally do not participate in would be unfair.
3d. Hard cap. You miss. You are gone.
3e. Any league member who falls short of the league MWR will lose their first round draft pick the following season. The only possible exception to this rule will be in the case of an owner who is a first year losing his pick an acceptable list of scrub prospects that can be drafted in the forfeited slot. That prospect is not to be signed, or offered a contract. This is done to prevent the league from losing legit ML prospects in the draft forfeiture process. Any owner who doesn't adhere to the draft forfeiture process, and instead drafts a legit prospect, is immediately removed from the league.
4. Should the name of the league be:
4a. No Fords
4b. Ford Quitters
4c. Sal Perez (The most recent World Series MVP)
4d. Write in vote
I will only vote if needed. This way, the league can be operated the way most of the players want it to operate, without interference from me.
For questions 1 and 2, 17 votes are needed to pass. For question 3, the enforcement with the highest vote total would be used (possibly in conjunction with the idea selected in #2).
Thanks,
Chris
