Might be an easy one but,

which MLB star once dated a girl with the same name as him?

Bo Belinsky?

The quote sounds like something Phil Niekro would have said.

If it's for my question, no. I might give a hint if more people guess wrong but I feel it might give it away

MadBum dated Madison Bumgarner. Perhaps he performed the physical impossible...

What Hall of Fame pitcher said the following quote? "How dumb can the hitters in this league get? I've been doing this for fifteen years. When they're batting with the count two balls and no strikes, or three and one, they're always looking for the fastball and they never get it."
Lmao. Is it Trevor Hoffman?
Could also be Glavine.
Any of us right?

I will guess that it is Greg Maddux. Hoffman is not a HOF inductee. Not yet anyway...

Not yet. You're all thinking too modern.

Actually that quote sounds like something Warren Spahn might have said?

Who was the first white player to play for a Negro League team?
5/4/2016 12:37 PM
I think I know this one prof, wasn't it a guy named Ed Klepp? I heard the story several years ago as he was not allowed to play on the same field as the Negro Leaguers under some laws of the time.

Eppa Rixey

I have no clue if it's older guys. Would it be Hal Newhouser?
5/4/2016 6:45 PM
I doubt it. Newhouser was one of the first modern dominant power lefties. I don't see him being the guy eschewing the fastball when he was behind in the count.
