CLONE ROUND
Congrats to Paul Westphal for being the 1st Clone selected.
Hardened Wilt Chamberlain, Marcus Camby, Bobby Jones, MARK PRICE,
USG% is a concern, these are some really good players to have around. Thrilled to see Mark in such a featured role. An high eFG% 2 guard would be nice.
98average Lebron James, Terry Porter, Amare Stodemire, TREE ROLLINS,
"Do you shoot 60 eFG%?" "Yes" "Welcome aboard" 98's team seems to have a really thick New York Accent. because while it has plenty of "TREES", it could use some additional threes.
Samuelyork93 Dennis Rodman, Alonzo Morning, Rajon Rondo, JOE DUMARS
Zo and Rodman together is great start. Sam adds another specialist is Rondo then goes right back to the backcourt for a double shot of Dumars. Dumars is a very interesting clone, but i wonder if he will be too much of a "slightly above average" thing. At this point, USG% is something you need.
Dh555 Michael Jordan, Steve Nash, Elton Brand, ANDREW BOGUT
Yikes. (As in scary good)
666ace Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Shawn Kemp, Mookie Blaylock, EDDIE JONES
Jones ends up in the Dumars area. Maybe I'm missing some partial seasons that you are targeting. Kemp and Blaylock are real headaches for both the team that drafts them and the teams that they play against. I hope they know whose team this is and are okay getting Kareem the ball.
Poddy Larry Bird, Bob Lanier, Walt Frazier, SWEN NATER
Nater is a beast on the glass, but may do more harm then good.
Jhsukow (1) Moses Malone, Shawn Marion, Terrell Brandon, ARVYDAS SABONIS
Just thrilled to get Sabonis cloned. not the best defender either, but I like his game.
Amerk1180 Shaq O'Neal, Donyell Marshall, Tracy McGrady, ROY TARPLEY
Not sure if McGrady is the best fit and am interested to see how many Tarpley minutes we are getting. Shaw and Marshall was a great start.
Seapilots David Robinson, Manu Ginobili, Tyson Chandler, PAUL PIERCE
Back-to-Back Spurs and Tyson is geat. Paul Pierce also gives you some variety as a clone that is exciting.
Danscleaners Karl Malone, Bill Russell, Joakim Noah, GERALD WALLACE
Malone, Russell, and Noah is the staer of a great high AST% team, but then we get a Crash Clone and this is a high rebounding/defense team. I do want to remind you though, 3's do count more then 2's.
Milest Steph Curry, Bob McAdoo, Marques Johnson, LARRY SANDERS!,
Not really a McAdoo fan. Curry is a clear stud and Marques can just never find his way to one of my teams. I also think that this was a safe play Cloning Sanders.
Cjok1051 Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Andre Drummond, ANDRE IGUODALA,
Iggy was one of the reasons I wanted to start this league.he can do so many things with so many different unique seasons. Love that pick. I don't think we've seen this backcourt in any draft league yet.I will also be intererested to see how it comes together.
Jhsukow (2) Dwight Howard, Anthony Davis, Kawhi Leonard, DEREK HARPER
Never used Harper before, should be fun. I have a feeling AD and Kawhi will keep being drafted by me earlier then people would expect until this current season comes out.
Scudmissle John Stockton, Kevin McHale, Kobe Bryant, WILLIS REED
No surprise here. Scud goes with a very sound defensive team. No reason to think this team won't find it's way to the playoffs.
Jethroeg Kevin Durant, Dave Cowens, Zeke!!!, BERNARD KING,
Durant may stay in OKC next season, but I'm guessing he is going to run away from this team. I like Dave Cowens (Just not in the 2nd round) and will see how the King X2 goes, but am nervous to see what Zeke has in store for this team. I do wish we could have gotten a Iverson clone here. That would have been the best.
roadhouse19 Hakeem Olajuwon, Gary Payton, Jerry Lucas, KYLE KORVER,
Lucas in the 3rd is awesome and I like cloning Korver. Hakeem is a tough code to crack. I think the answer is we start taking him in the 2nd with his high OREB% season, but What do I know. This might sound crazy, I'm just not sure what position Gary Payton plays. I think his best season might be best used at the 2, but that's where Korvers are going
carbonjones Magic Johnson, Bill Walton, James Harden, BO OUTLAW,
Love this team...If you are using the Thunder Harden and will then find more USG in the 5th
Ysw128 Dwyane Wade, Chauncey Billups, Tom Boerwinkle, CLIFFORD RAY
Wade Billups is a top 4 favorite backcourt in this league. I wonder if a SF by any other name wouldn't smell as sweet?
Bigthirsty Tim Duncan, Dikembe Mutombo, Larry Nance, CLYDE DREXLER
I'd say something bad about this team, but I'd be afraid they would get MORE defensive. I've never been a Drexler fan in other draft leagues, but understand his value as a clone.
jcred5 Kevin Garnett, Scottie Pippen, Horace Grant, CHARLIE WARD
Ward is an CLEAR choice as a clone. Confused to see Horace Grant and KG on the same team though.
omegax Ben Wallace, Artis Gilmore, Andrei Kirilenko, RAY ALLEN
Allen is a great fit to be cloned on a team of helpers. I think we were all pretty upset that we were robbed a chance to clone AK-47 though.
Seapilots (2) Anfernee Hardaway, Jason Kidd, Rudy Gobert, KEVIN LOVE
Here is one of the other top 4 backcourts. Gobert and Double Love are also a clear fit.
masterdebate Oscar Robertson, Julius Erving, Buck Williams, JOSH SMITH
Josh Smith is another interesting clone with some different option to consider. These are some tough players to use correctly, but if you do, should be a real problem for the rest of us.
Uptowngbv Charles Barkley, DeAndre Jordan, Serge Ibaka, PAULWESTPHAL
I think you should have cloned Serge, but doesn't matter what I think. I think the biggest take away from this team is that "closer to 24" is awesome. first crack at clones and I'm sure trade offers were lining up for Barkley/Jordan.
