no loophole, we've always played "exclusive = exclusive", i.e. I have Don Sutton, somebody else has already claimed Nolan Ryan, therefore I cannot draft a Ryan in one of the seasons he played with Sutton (1981-82 in this example).

Ya, exclusive means exclusive. If someone has claimed an SP as their guy, nobody else can have him on their roster.

Here's a dumb question. When you say teammates must be from when your exclusive was a SP, do you mean they had to be on his team or do you mean any team during a season when he was a SP?
