I'll be your last man. We will start with the 1993 Yankees.

WOW - we made it to 20. Cool. Since there were 20 teams in 1963 that means no expansion, though maybe when we get to 1969, when there were 24 teams.

I have given this lots of thought and will make an all Texas pair of teams:

1993 Texas Rangers
1963 Houston Colt 45's

So we will now pick in reverse order our second team. Remember if you drafted a 1963 team you must take a 1993 team. If you drafted a 1993 team, you must take a 1963 team. I will send out a site mail.

rejay and grayfoxx have made a trade - rejay gets the 63 Giants - grayfoxx gets the 63 Indians.

With pitching in short supply, we'll pair up with the 1963 Chicago White Sox.

Are we still going to vote on having the DH in the American League? It would be nice to know before I set my roster ... and 1993 AL teams do face a slight disadvantage if they have to bat a bunch of pitchers all year who never hit in RL.

Also, when we get to next season's draft of unclaimed players, are we choosing from every player on the ten unclaimed teams, or just rookies?

I for one would be interested in drafting 5 players from the unchosen teams this year instead of waiting one year.

This would mean drafting 100 players from the 8 remaining teams - are there really 12 per team that would be usable?
How about a 3 round draft?

I would rather it be a lower number than 5...say 3 at the max.. That being said, it won't make me mad either way. I can also live with waiting until next season.

As much as I'd like to take both Red Sox teams they just don't have the pitching. Another team has pitching but crap for offense so we will take the 63 Braves that have a little of both. Fenway Park in AL

also - I vote for an initial draft now with 2-3 picks.
