He is my best overall player better than my d2 pull down. But he has a horrible track record. Maybe that can change with some1 other than me at the relam of Chowan next season.

Yeah I am now just starting to realize that I want players with high potential rather than low...

jsajsa, He is a special player and I would assume that he is not your best ever. Would you have him in the starting 5? I think he is just short, but I love the guy's Ath/Def.

He is close to maxing out in all of his categories. Per should end in the mid 90's (not sure exactly as he flipped in the off-season) and St at 99. Everything else is red at the moment, with a few more points.

Coach Ward, that guys is not bad and if you can continue to find a few more guys like that with better numbers in other areas, you will be much more effective at this game.

I do not want to flood this exciting thread with a bunch of players, and if you would like my opinion on some of your guys, I would be more than happy to give you my take on any player you have. Just PM me.

I will say that you do not want to look at the overall rating of a guy to determine how good he is. I have had guys barely over 600 who were much more productive and better than guys I have had over 700.

I mean, depending on my roster he might be able to make the end of the bench. He's definitely never a starter for me. That ATH/DEF isn't all that impressive for a guy who doesn't do anything else particularly well. My current two starting SFs also don't do anything else particularly well, but their ATH/DEF is 89/93 and 80/87, and the latter's DEF will max out in the high 90s.

I apologize, jsajsa I was referencing to your player (Leon Meier) in the first paragraph and transitioned into Coach Wards player in the next post. I was wondering your opinion whether or not you would put Meier in the starting 5 that is on the 5th page (I believe)?

I lean towards him not being objectively better than Hendricks, but he probably fits into the starting 5 if this was actually playing as a team just a bit better. Not much of a drop off in scoring ability and a better defender. And with that stamina stamina stamina (the most underrated rating in the game). Is he the best player I ever had? Probably not. But he has one heck of a unique skill set for D3.

Personally I'd keep Ruano as PF and bring Higgins in as the new C. I'll go with the 2 insane ath/def monsters. Higgins rebound is 94 so a 100 ath 71 reb PF is not a big deal. Brauer might not even have the scoring advantage over Ruano with the 28 point ath differential. the 95 stamina is nice but Higgins is 92 and 82 isn't bad for a PF either. The only downside of the Rauno/Higgins lineup is the poor FT shooting.


Meier is pretty much a toss up coming down to personal preference pretty much its 1A and 1B at this point just slightly different styles of players. It's ath/def/sta/ft verse the spd/per/pas of Hendricks
