We are a league that uses 2 different seasons each year for our player pool. Owners may choose players from either time period and mix and match as they see fit. Our inaugural season was 1960 and 1985 and we are about to enter our 4th season (1963/88). We need owners to take over 2 teams for our 5th season which will be 1964/89. I anticipate that we will start drafting for season 5 in mid-May. Here is a rundown about the 2 available teams:


#1 - New York Jets - this team was originally drafted by an owner that went MIA between the end of the draft and the beginning of the 1st season. It has been managed by gwhouse who also manages the Minn Vikings. gw has not only been kind enough to babysit the team, but has had some success while doing it. The team has gone 5-11, 8-8, and 10-6 over our 3 seasons with 2 playoff appearances, including a Super Bowl showing in year 2. Notable players for this team include QB Dan Marino, RB Hershel Walker and trio of good WR's in Eric Martin, Andre Reed, and John Taylor.

#2 - Washington Huskies - this team has been managed by hoopsrus since we started but he has given notice that this will be his last season. While his first 2 seasons were struggles (2-14 and 3-13), he began to turn things around in year 3 with a 9-7 record and a playoff birth. Those 2 bad seasons allowed him to grab RB Neal Anderson and real life HOF'er WR Lance Alworth. Those two players coupled with Randall Cunningham QB (2nd in MVP voting for season 3) make for a strong nucleus of players to build onto.


Below are their 1963/88 rosters.....some of these players will probably retire and no longer be available in 1964 or 1989 but just wanted to post the current roster with all the players. I will try to go thru it at a later date and note any players who are retiring or on IR for the upcoming season.
