at first i was really nervous about the trade. i was targeting Marion, McHale, and Brand, and I thought I'd have Kawhi as a fallback. well, they were all gone by the time my second 2nd round pick came around. to my disbelief, Manu was on the board. no brainer. from there, i just went with a high eFG%/best player/best defense available strategy.

wrestled with the Nick Anderson pick. thought of a different guy, but didn't think the defense would be enough. didn't need more shots, but didn't want to sacrifice efficiency. tough - Nick was sort of the only real option.

Interesting usage of Kidd, also, lots of usage in general.

I was just sort of picking favorite players I haven't had the opportunity to use at first, and then it sort of went from there....

I play for the fun of it, I'm not terribly competitive about WIS basketball.

What I like about this 5 is that Billups and Love and their 380 3PM are perhaps the only combo in the SIM that works with Moncrief, who has no outside game. What he does have is excellent pts per use, OReb, Ast and gives me a 90/90 def combo on the wing. Jordan might be considered a reach at 15 but the more I looked, the more I thought he at least belongs in the conversation after the more obvious top 13 (Wilt, Lebron, Curry, MJ, Kareem, Shaq, Rodman, Howard, Moses, Karl, Paul, Durant, Admiral). Rounded out with Connie Hawkins who is basically Moncrief without the defense, and Varejao to keep the boards and assists going upfront behind Love and DJ.

What I like about that team jkaye24 is the amount of FTAs and the low fouls per 48 minutes overall.

Agree, The FTAs are off the charts, it is like 3,600 for 19,400 minutes on the team I have mocked up. Obv the sim won't give me all those FTs but definitely the highest I've put together.

My team is going to be bad hahahahahaha oh well XD

Added Kelvin Cato and Boban Marjanovic. Cato backs up Murphy with decent FTA, Rebounding and 64 defense. Marjanoic is the perfect backup for the higher usage Gilmore. IMO getting Troy Murphy is key to keep teams from playing -2 or -3 defense against my team. I like the team so far.
