I think you need to aim higher than Burligame https://www.whatifsports.com/hd/PlayerProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=13687&pid=3314433 as a PG. He's a solid D3 player but he'll top out in the low 70's for speed and upper 40's for BH and PASS. I really recommend having a PG be 60+ BH and 70+ PASS and SPEED in most D3 offenses.

I was mainly joking in that, but yeah. I need to be aiming for a juco or a late cut.

He's going to be 30 ATH 80+ Speed 20 DEF with 70+ PASS/BH and probably 90+ PER. I signed him late for very little. I don't think he's a starter because of the low DEF but he'll be a career backup 1/2 for me. I'll probably play him in the 2nd slot for PG/SG by the time he is a RS SOPH. Guys like this are valuable to teams like yours because they fill a role you don't have (outside shooting and passer) covered real well.

It's not that hard to find a 40ish ATH/DEF guy with high speed (40/80/40 isn't a bad defender) and 70+ PASS/BH in D3. There are lots of them. I wouldn't limit yourself to a transfer or JUCO guy.

Yeah, that defense would have scared me off. I guess we'll see what options I have. I actually love the area that the team is in. A lot of hidden gems in and around the area, just not as much volume obviously.

good offensive production off the bench, does foul a bit, but provides 3's at a high rate so I think its a fair tradeofff

I've been a little disappointed by players like this. I've only had a few of them but it seems like there isn't a way to get them to shoot enough 3s. Even at +2 they don't shoot enough. I wish there were an option to disable low post (essentially set it to 0) so my guy would shoot 3s exclusively. Especially when that guy has a c- ft to accompany his low post and perimeter.

89/85 both black as of now.

Ratings don't mean a thing, unless they can be backed up by statistics.

If it makes you feel better however, 85+ for both PE and LP at D-3 is quite impressive.

Time Out. Rodney Jacobson is playing the point for you?! Took a quick look at your 4 teams. There's only 1 guard among all 4 that's worth a soggy-goddam! You didn't recruit him either.

So...the first thing you should notice is that this dude is wasted. Keene St's Assist/turnover ratio is 5.4/12.7. N...no... Jacobson can't play either guard position effectively. He's a great D3 SF...assuming you have guards. Your teams will perform vastly better if you have 4 guys on each team that can handle the ball and pass. That means you have to go get 15 guards immediately. Go.

I don't think beachhouse knows what a "guard" is

Pretty sure I did fine in giving you an elite eight team..

Also, I've gone for and lost out on PG's. Cornell as an example had great PG's in past seasons.
