The Beer League was WIS's first Progressive league long ago. It goes through baseball history two years at a time.

Now it will be soon beginning the 2001-02 rookie draft and we'll be needing a few new owners.

We need some owners who enjoy modern day baseball as we come out of the steroid era.

I'll put up the rosters of the available teams as we get closer to the end of the 1999-2000

Congrats to original owner fredbird and his Windy City Mafia for winning the 1999 - 2000 World Series. Over more than 60 Beer League seasons, fredbird has been a top owner throughout.

The draft is started and we need to fill our openings for the 2001-02 season.

Somebody's gotta want to test themselves, I joined 3 seasons ago and this season lost to said Fredbirds team in the World Series. Next season I expect to contend again, so there is plenty of time to build a champion. Take the challenge!
