I just took over a team that had a prospect in Rookie ball from last season but he never played a game. He was an international signed midseason by a different team, released, and picked up off waivers by the previous owner of my team. I moved him up to High A, now I am trying to offer him in a trade and he's nowhere to be found on the trade proposals page.

I'm confused.

Players aren't eligible for trade until they've had one full year of pro ball. Go to your High A roster and select the "Status Info" view. The player in question probably has a "0" in the "Pro" column.

The fact that he never played makes him a 1st year player.
