Am I missing something with their ratings or should both of these guys lifetime ERA be at least half a point lower?
I tend to judge low IP guys by WHIP rather than ERA. A guy can throw several great games, give up a hit, a walk, a homer in an inning and his previous 5 lockdown innings produce a 4.50 ERA. That's not indicative of how he pitched his last 6 games.

I almost never look at ERA. OAV, WHIP and SLG. I'm really wary of guys who give up too many HRs.
