... this highest distribution you have ever given to a player in a game and not had him take a single shot or shoot a single free throw in twenty minutes or more?

Isn't putting a seventeen in and a player attempting nothing whatsoever a bit odd?

how many minutes?
5/11/2016 6:28 PM
twenty.

It's even the PG, so he would typically get fouled at least once or twice just by handling the ball.
5/11/2016 6:36 PM
I guess it was against a zone...

Still mighty odd.

It is odd. I used to do Sr night and for my last game of the season versus a sim I'd distribute up evenly between my seniors to get 100
5/11/2016 9:21 PM
My guess it is due to the PG's 35 ATH.....my 3-2 zone averaged more than 30 more than that. Your poor PG couldn't get an open look.

What were your other distribution numbers, it's a ratio
5/11/2016 10:18 PM
21, two 17's including him, some tens, and various other single digit numbers.
Regardless, I have trouble thinking of another set of numbers in ratio that equate to taking no shots whatsoever other than with a really freaky roll of the dice.

Your team took 50 shots, he was in the game for 20 minutes so let's assume he was in for 25. His relative ratio was about a quarter? So in a vacuum he should have taken about 6? Seems odd but not unreasonable given the 3-2 zone and ath difference
5/12/2016 8:25 AM
Closer to 31% given the lineups involved.
5/12/2016 10:44 AM
So he was expected to take closer to 7 or 8 shots? I think this shows the suppression factor of the 3-2 on guards.

I'm not complaining, mind, or saying things are unjust, just trying to noodle through something which is an oddity in my mind to see if I can think of ways to suppress or utilize the oddity.
