I received notice from big_dowg today that his wife suffered a fatal heart attack a few days back and I would like all to take a moment of silence for this great WIS participant who plays in 4 of the 5 leagues I run and has always been an outstanding owner and friend.

He came up MIA a few days back on Sunday when keepers were due in Quad and knowing him well I knew something was up and when he didn't make his first pick nor opened sm's I was certain of it. I made his pick hoping for the best but then realized something had happened so I loaded his team and proceeded to make his picks.

We started the 4th round today when I received a sitemail from him telling me the sad news and letting me know he was unable to continue WIS. With that said I will run his team in Quad and have asked for others to post keepers and run his team for another draft I'm starting Monday, RPLY and another the following Tuesday, SOOP.

I have outstanding owners for the most part in my leagues as most are in two or three leagues I run, some are in all and I have the utmost confidence that someone in each league will help out as I refuse to run an ad for teams he owns until he has time to grieve.

This news hit me particularly hard today as it is my 27th wedding anniversary and if I lost my wife in this tragic fashion I am unsure if I could take the time to even log in here no less let guys know what happened.
