Dickinson 53 at NYU 69- New York, NY. This game was originally scheduled to be played in Carlisle, PA but due to some recent storm damage the game was moved to the Jerome S. Coles sports center in New York. The Violets were anything but courteous hosts to their unexpected guests as they quickly jumped out to 15 point lead early in the 2nd half and led by 22 at one point. This was another game in which a bench player shined as Violet sophmore guard Kyle Klein drained 6 bombs from downtown for a total of 22 points. The Violets will now play host to the Bears later tonight while the Red Devils head home to play the Bisons.

Slot 6
USCG 67 at #1 Becker 70- Leicester, MA. Senior Hawk big men Harley Poteete & Edward Stacey combined for 25 points , 17 rebounds, & 5 block shots in a hard fought victory over the Bears earlier today. The Bears opened up the tournament with a 3 point loss to the Beavers when Claude Lupiens game tying shot fell short at the buzzer, the Bears followed that with two game tying shots at the buzzer against NYU only to fall short in double overtime, it was Lupien's shot with 7 seconds left in this one that would've tied things up that once again fell short sending the tough luck Bears to 0-3! USCG now heads home to face Capital who also sits at 0-3.

Man, I would've loved to have done these past few days but work was brutal for me and I just didn't have time to do the recaps....hopefully that doesn't happen again....Ever!
Carl, I'll get 10$ to you tomorrow! Congrats and what a tourney your boys had. A 3OT game at the end to seal it and you finished at 6-1! The opening game for you against Capital was the only game your Hawks played in which it was decided but double digits(62-52).
Matt, do your all tourney teams and we'll vote on the MVP again too.
Tomorrow I will add another thread to this tracking some team stats and past champions that I'll update each season.
GL in the conf slate to all of ya and I bet some of us meet again come NT time.
