That drives our attachment to a Hoops Dynasty school? I've often wondered why I leave Oberlin College for a D1 or D2 job only to eventually head back to Northeast Ohio to coach the Crimson and Gold? I didn't go to school there. I've never been there or seen an athletic event featuring any of their teams, but sure enough, even though I just returned to D2 I KNOW I'll be back there eventually. 90% of my hoops gear is maroon and gold, and the wife even had an Oberlin Basketball t-shirt made for me as a "joke".
So...What keeps you where you're at?

My very first team was Greenville College in the SLIAC. I picked them because Greenville is the name of my hometown.
