Anybody familiar with R programming and has (or knows how to) successfully go about scraping data from each team's players stats?.. (instead of having to copy and pasting everything into excel manually)

Google 'screen scraper' or 'screen scraper programs'. I've been out of that market for a few years, so I don't know which to recommend. There used to be several free programs that did an OK job.
