Why no DH in the 255 million league?

I considered it. I usually do DH in one of the six leagues and decided on the 140M theme.

I actually like it. Puts more weight on the bench and good-hitting pitchers, and how guys manage the two will be a significant factor. Usually your expensive bench is wasted in high cap leagues unless you're doing a lot of platooning.

Platooning is definitely one of a few workable strategies in the 255M league. Personally, I would love to see this a version of this theme at a lower cap with more platoon options thrown in (and obviously a different, lower salary set of players)

I'd love to see this theme at a lower cap with the SAME NAMES and BOXES. We'd have to weed through their partial years or injured years in order to stay below the cap. Now THAT would be a challenge.

at $255M I want to use a pinch hitter every time through the lineup. Can I hold a gun to Sparky's head and force him to do that?

Perhaps with very aggressive pinch hitting settings, and low pitch counts...you could try a variance of the Long A strategy. Have a few horses in the pen to get you a few innings each game.

I don't play much below $80m. I was happy to find over 1,300 innings for under $35m. I think they could compete in an $80M open league. Then again, they could stink it up...

Agreed!! The $110 was a nightmare to piece together, it reminded me of that stupid golf tee game at Cracker Barrel where you had to try to get down to 1 tee, I always ended up with 2 on opposite sides in that damn game. I think all together it took me over 9 hours spread over 4 nights to assemble the $110. I had trouble with the $100 too, mainly just deciding on which team to commit to. 3rd toughest for me was the $140, I just feel like I can't figure out a good strategy to attack that one, I don't think I've ever made a team that even closely resembles the current roster I've settled on there, definitely the team I have the least amount of confidence in!! It's my first time in this but a very challenging yet enjoyable set of themes this time around. Nice work Schwarze and Ozo!!

2nd year in this thing and the $110 is killing me right now.
