How does this work for players that are going to be recovering in the off season? 2nd year player, injured 214 days for elbow surgery. Season just ended, I got the first recovery, which he was still around 5 points off from pre injury ratings. If the injury carries over, put him on the 60 day DL. I've had players get 4 recovery cycles under those circumstances.

Julio Pena in one of my worlds just went from a 73 pre-injury to a 76 post-injury (including his health going from 99 pre-injury up to 102 post-injury - I'm not even sure what that would mean, maybe he's Bruce Willis in unbreakable). Can confirm injury big is still in effect.

If I have a prospect that has a short term injury and I add him to the 60-day, would the ratings bump he could potentially get only effect the ratings he lost? So, he has an oblique strain, so only lost 1 rating point in Arm Strength, Durability and Health. Would he only gain points in those categories?

Yep. If he's a prospect, meaning he's still developing, I wouldn't do it. Obliques are crap injuries. Like hamstrings to pitchers.

the above is in jest. Bglick is a fine owner who fairly built a juggernaut and has managed it beautifully since.

Has the injury bug been tweaked? I've had almost every guy I put on the 60 day DL just get 1 bump and it is usually a point or 2 lower then what they were before the injury. This is with $20 million medical.

That is happening on occasion. I've yet to figure out why.

It's becoming consistant with me now. The team has 20 mill medical.

How long do you have to keep them on 60 day DL? I have a guy that I signed as an international early in season that got injured in his second game for 68 days and he lost 3 pts. OA. I have had him on 60 DL for about 90 days and only gotten one OA pt. back. How long before I recover the rest?
