So what type of rules do we want in this world?

Minimum wins in a season? Over two seasons? More seasons?

Also, how do we want to treat the minors?

I was hoping New Orleans would ;)

I like what Maddux has in place. I am hoping we have a ton of owners who are committed long term to this new world, which will help keep those rules in place and easier to enforce. If we have a bunch of guys jumping ship it will make things more difficult. I am willing to work on a blog for the world to help owners feel connected and stick around.

Maddux Rules

1. To be eligible for play in the following season, an owner's major league team must win a minimum of 120 games over two consecutive seasons, and 50 in a single season.

2. All teams must maintain a full and healthy roster at all levels. If a team is found in violation of the rule they will receive a warning after which the team will have five days to correct their roster. If the team fails to comply the owner will be replaced.

Now that I look at them, I think we should either change it to 115 wins/2 seasons or replace it with a minimum win rule of 180 over a 3 season span.

Given Rizzuto's inability to fill over the last 2 seasons, it's hard to imagine booting owners out of the league. I'd rather focus on keeping owners, but if these rules help retain owners, then I'm all in.
