We will conduct two annual drafts. In the inaugural drafts, NL teams will choose from a pool that includes pitchers from 1991 and position players from 1891. AL teams will choose from a pool that includes pitchers from 1891 and position players from 1991. In the year two draft, the NL will choose from 1992 pitchers and 1892 hitters, and so on.

The inaugural drafts will each be 26 rounds, 25 picks for roster spots and 1 pick for ballpark. You can select any ballpark that was in use in 1891 or 1991, ballparks are exclusive. Once you choose your ballpark, you move when your park goes out of use in real life (example: if we have a Kingdome team, they would move to Safeco Field in season ten). Team names must begin with the actual location of your park.

Drafts for seasons one through four will be serpentine (1-8, 8-1) and the draft orders will be chosen randomly. Starting with season five, draft order will be determined by combined W-L record in the previous four seasons.

Trading is encouraged. During the inaugural draft, you may trade picks from season two's draft. In future drafts, you can trade picks up to two seasons out. Inter-league trading is allowed, however, there will be no inter-league trades until after the completion of the inaugural draft. In future seasons, inter-league trading will be suspended 24 hours before the beginning of the drafts and can resume upon completion of both drafts. Keep in mind that if you are an NL team and trade picks with an AL team, the pick you receive would be from the AL's player pool, and vice-versa.
