Should we think about a draft instead of first come first serve? I think this is one of the best leagues out there. It really feels like you're putting together a franchise team when you're limited to seasons from that franchise. But maybe people aren't signing up if some of the best squads are gone?

Season 1:
In the Western Conference, Miami Heat took care of Seattle Supersonics in 5 games. While over in the East, New York Nets outplayed New York Knicks in 6 games. In the SimLeague Finals, Miami Heat swept New York Nets in 4 games.

Season 2:
In the Western Conference, Dallas Mavericks prevailed against Golden State Warriors in 7 games. While over in the East, Miami Heat outplayed Detroit Pistons in 6 games. In the SimLeague Finals, Miami Heat answered the call against Dallas Mavericks in 6 games.

Season 3:
In the Western Conference, Golden State Warriors outplayed Portland TrailBlazers in 6 games. While over in the East, Miami Heat overpowered Cleveland Cavaliers in 5 games. In the SimLeague Finals, Golden State Warriors answered the call against Miami Heat in 6 games.

Season 4:
In the Western Conference, Dallas Mavericks routed New Orleans Hornets in 4 games. While over in the East, Miami Heat made short work of Milwaukee Bucks in 5 games. In the SimLeague Finals, Miami Heat outlasted Dallas Mavericks in 6 games.

Season 5:
In the Western Conference, Phoenix Centenarians squeaked by San Antonio Spurs in 7 games. While over in the East, Cleveland Cavaliers outplayed Buffalo Braves in 6 games. In the SimLeague Finals, Phoenix Centenarians made short work of Cleveland Cavaliers in 5 games.

Season 6:
In the Western Conference, Utah Jazz squeaked by Phoenix Suns in 7 games. While over in the East, Chicago Bulls answered the call against Miami Heat in 6 games. In the SimLeague Finals, Chicago Bulls overpowered Utah Jazz in 5 games.

Maybe we'll just shoot for a draft next time? Probably too late now. We're almost half full.

My problem with doing a draft is that we would have to wait for 24 signups before we could get it going. If you check out the 2015-16 draft league thread, you will see why I'm a bit dubious about that.
